Kaifeng Ruihong Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Ruihong Chemical”) was established on June 27, 2022, and is located at No. 6 Jinshan Road, Fine Chemical Industry Cluster Zone, Yuwangtai District, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. Ruihong Chemical Co., Ltd. Serves as the core industrial chain extension and upgrading project under the strategic layout of Kaifeng Jiuhong Chemical Co., Ltd., which aims to build a “one-million-ton new-materials industrial park with RMB 10 billion in output value.” With the goal of establishing a premier hub for the new-materials industry, the company was designated as a key provincial project in Henan Province for 2023 and as a signed project under the seventh phase of the “Three Batches” initiative. The project achieved full-scale production in January 2024, passed the project completion acceptance and obtained a work-safety production license in 2025. To date,the company has built a modern production base with an annual production capacity of 68,000 tons of phthalic anhydride, 60,000 tons of special plasticizers and 200,000 tons of resins. In 2024, the company achieved operating revenue of nearly RMB 800 million, and in 2025, its revenue climbed to a new high, successfully crossing the RMB 1 billion milestone, fully demonstrating the company's robust growth potential and solid industry position.
The company’s production facilities are fully fitted with automated interlock control systems including DCS and SIS. The plant consists of one phthalic anhydride production line, three plasticizer production lines and 22 resin production lines. Its product portfolio includes phthalic anhydride, specialty plasticizers such as triethylene glycol di-2-ethylhexanoate (3GO), dioctyl adipate (DOA), and dioctyl sebacate (DOS), as well as more than 100 resin grades—including unsaturated polyester resins for skylight panels, molding compounds, hand lay-up resins, flame-retardant resins, and alkyd resins for applications such as amino baking finishes, wood coatings, and fast-drying paints.
Ruihong Chemical attaches great importance to technological innovation. The company currently has 260 employees, including 37 R&D personnel consisting of 10 postgraduates, 2 senior engineers and 23 intermediate engineers. Ruihong has signed industry-university cooperation agreements with Kaifeng University, Henan Chemical Technician College, and Zhengzhou University, thereby building a multidisciplinary, complementary innovation pipeline. Extensive collaboration has been initiated in areas such as the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, process optimization, R&D of environmentally friendly products, and talent cultivation and supply. Up to now, the company has been granted 10 utility model patents and 1 software copyright; more than 10 utility model patent applications are currently under examination, and 2 invention patent applications have entered the substantive examination stage. The company applies these patents and its core technologies to product R&D and manufacturing, effectively enhancing its core competitiveness. The R&D investment ratio has remained steadily above 3% in the past three years. The company has participated in the compilation of several standards such as the “Technical Specification for Stone Application in Building Decoration Engineering”. Furthermore, thanks to its strong innovation capabilities and technical expertise, Ruihong Chemical has been recognized as a High-tech Enterprise and designated as the Kaifeng City Innovative Science and Technology Team for 2024, and it was awarded the Third Prize in the 2024 Kaifeng City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
