The company currently employs 260 staff, having established a well-structured and highly qualified talent pool. Among them are 37 full-time R&D personnel, forming a core R&D team with solid professional expertise, extensive R&D experience, and a scientifically sound and well-balanced age and title hierarchy. The team brings together industry-leading technical talent, including 10 master’s degree holders, 2 senior engineers, and 23 mid-level engineers, covering key areas such as materials chemistry, process design, automated control, and environmental protection technologies. With both a robust theoretical research foundation and rich engineering practice experience, the team is capable of tackling critical technological challenges, developing new products, and optimizing processes, thereby providing strong human resource support for the company’s technological innovation.
To further strengthen the innovation system, broaden the scope of R&D, and integrate high-quality science and education resources, the company has actively promoted deep integration among industry, academia, and research. It has established long-term, stable university–enterprise partnerships with numerous provincial and non-provincial universities and specialized institutions, including Kaifeng University, Henan Chemical Technician College, and Zhengzhou University, signing strategic cooperation and R&D agreements to create an innovative development framework characterized by multidisciplinary cross-fertilization, complementary strengths, and synergistic collaboration among industry, academia, and research. The two sides have engaged in in-depth cooperation in key areas such as the commercialization and application of scientific and technological achievements, the optimization and upgrading of advanced production processes, the R&D of new green and environmentally friendly products, and the targeted training and supply of specialized technical talent, thereby effectively streamlining the entire value chain—from R&D and pilot-scale validation to industrial application—and significantly enhancing both the efficiency of technology transfer and the quality of innovation output.
In terms of R&D investment, the company adheres to a long-term, strategic approach and continuously strengthens financial support. Over the past three years, R&D expenditure as a percentage of operating revenue has remained consistently above 3% and has increased steadily year by year, providing ample and stable funding for exploring cutting-edge technologies, developing new products, iteratively upgrading existing products, modernizing laboratory equipment, and building a robust R&D team—thereby ensuring the sustained advancement of technological innovation.
Through sustained investment and accumulation, the company has achieved abundant results in scientific and technological innovation, with its intellectual property system becoming increasingly robust. To date, the company has been granted 10 utility model patents and 1 software copyright; in addition, more than 10 utility model patent applications have officially entered the examination stage, and 2 invention patent applications have entered the substantive examination stage.
