Product Details
Dioctyl adipate (abbreviated as DOA, CAS No.: 103-23-1, molecular formula: C22H42O4 ), it is a colorless or pale yellow, clear and transparent oily liquid at room temperature, with a slight characteristic odor, and exhibits excellent properties such as high purity, light color, and a high flash point.
DOA is a widely used and mainstream cold-resistant plasticizer for PVC and vinyl resins, with its core advantages lying in its outstanding low-temperature performance and high plasticizing efficiency. It can significantly lower the glass transition temperature of polymers, greatly enhancing the flexibility and durability of finished products at low temperatures, while also exhibiting excellent resistance to photoaging. In terms of applications, DOA is extremely versatile: it is used in agricultural films to ensure they remain crack-free in severe cold; in wires and cables to improve cold resistance and insulation properties; in synthetic leather to enhance hand feel, making it soft and smooth; in frozen-food packaging to maintain good flexibility even at low temperatures; and in synthetic rubbers and various coatings to effectively improve processing performance as well as the physical and mechanical properties of the final products.
